If this is done then you will need to give it some time to heal fast.
If you have enough jaw bone then the procedure can begin. During the procedure the dentist will create a pilot hole into the jaw bone through your gum. This procedure has to be handled with a lot of care in order not to be able to damage facial nerves. The hole will be used to anchor the titanium screw on to the bone. After this, a protective covering will now be added.
It will take about three to six months for the titanium screw and the jaw bone to fuse together. This process of them coming together is referred to as osseointegration process. This is just but a guarantee that the teeth is as strong as a natural one. It can also be able to last for a longer time. After the healing process is done, then a temporary crown can be put on top of the screw.
